În prezența președintelui COSR Mihai Covaliu și a secretarului general George Boroi, la Guvernul României s-a semnat azi contractul de reparație a Complexului Olimpic Sydney 2000, baza veche. Evenimentul de semnare a avut loc cu participarea premierului Marcel Ciolacu și a ministrului dezvoltării Adrian Veștea.
"Investiția în infrastructura sportivă va contribui la creșterea performanțelor sportivilor români. România trebuie să investească în sport!", a declarat Marcel Ciolacu.
Constructii Erbașu va coordona reparațiile de la Izvorani.
"După foarte mulți ani și foarte multe discuții am ajuns în acest punct. Familia Olimpică, lumea sportului așteaptă de mult acest moment. Suntem bucuroși ca prin dezvoltarea infrastructurii sportive putem spera să crească și performanța sportivilor noștri.
"Complexul Olimpic Sydney 2000 din Izvorani a fost dedicat acum 24 de ani sportului, după o ediție excelentă de Jocuri. După Paris 2024, sperăm prin aceste investiții să ne bucurăm de creșterea rezultatelor tricolorilor! Vă mulțumim pentru efortul pe care îl faceți. Știm că sunt și alte domenii care necesită atenție, dar măbucur că astăzi sportul revine în atenția Guvernului și primește această medalie pentru performanță!", a declarat Mihai Covaliu.
Contract Signed for Major Repairs and Modernization of the Old ROSC Base in Izvorani
In the presence of ROSC President Mihai Covaliu and Secretary General George Boroi, the contract for the repair of the Sydney 2000 Olympic Complex, the old base, was signed today at the Romanian Government. The signing event took place with the participation of Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu and Development Minister Adrian Veștea.
"Investing in sports infrastructure will contribute to the improvement of Romanian athletes' performances. Romania must invest in sports!" declared Marcel Ciolacu.
Erbașu Constructions will oversee the repairs at Izvorani.
"After many years and many discussions, we have reached this point. The Olympic family, the sports world, has long awaited this moment. We are pleased that through the development of sports infrastructure, we can hope to see an increase in our athletes' performances. The Sydney 2000 Olympic Complex in Izvorani was dedicated to sports 24 years ago, after an excellent edition of the Games. After Paris 2024, we hope that through these investments, we can enjoy improved results from our tricolors! We thank you for the effort you are making. We know that there are other areas that require attention, but I am glad that today sports have returned to the Government's attention and are receiving this medal for performance!" declared Mihai Covaliu.
