FEMEIA – o forță în viața de zi cu zi, FEMEIA – o forță în sport. Andreea Paul, conferențiar universitar la Facultatea de Relații Economice Internaționale a Academiei de Studii Economice din București, a dorit să demonstreze puterea sportului feminin și a realizat volumul FORȚA FEMEILOR ÎN SPORT împreună cu coautoarele sale - sportive și antrenoare de top, medaliate olimpice, modiale și europene, jurnaliste sportive.
Lansarea de astăzi a cărții, proiect realizat în parteneriat cu Comitetul Olimpic și Sportiv Român, Agenția Națională pentru Sport, Polirom și INACO - Inițiativa pentru Competitivitate, a adunat sub cupola de sticlă a Muzeului Sportului din incinta Casei Olimpice din București o mulțime de oameni frumoși, femei de succes care au dus sportul pe cele mai înalte trepte ale performanței.
Evenimentul a fost pentru bucuria revederii și rememorării momentelor de glorie și emoțiilor trăite, dar și pentru transmiterea unui mesaj puternic de transfer generațional dinspre doamnele de aur ale sportului românesc, surse de inspirație pentru generațiile viitoare.
Alături de o mare parte dintre coautoare, în frunte cu Canotoarea Secolului XX, multipla medaliată olimpică Elisabeta Lipă, președintele Agenției Naționale pentru Sport, s-au aflat Mihai Covaliu, președintele COSR și George Boroi, secretarul general al COSR, doi dintre susținătorii de suflet ai proiectului.

WOMAN – a force in everyday life, WOMAN – a force in sports. Andreea Paul, an associate professor at the Faculty of International Economic Relations at the Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies, aimed to showcase the power of women in sports. She, along with her co-authors, top athletes, Olympic, world, and European medalists, and sports journalists, has created the book "The Strength of Women in Sports".
The book launch event, a project realized in partnership with the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee, the National Sports Agency, Polirom, and INACO - the Initiative for Competitiveness, brought together a multitude of beautiful people under the glass dome of the Sports Museum within the Olympic House in Bucharest. These were successful women who have taken sports to the highest levels of performance.
The event was a joyous reunion and a remembrance of moments of glory and shared emotions. It also served as a platform for conveying a powerful message of generational transfer from the golden ladies of Romanian sports, who serve as sources of inspiration for future generations.
Among the many co-authors, we should mention the "Canoeist of the 20th Century," multiple Olympic medalist Elisabeta Lipă, the President of the National Sports Agency, Mihai Covaliu, the President of the Romanian Olympic and Sports Committee and George Boroi, the Secretary-General of the Committee. They are among the passionate supporters of this project.
